Care & Longevity
Care & Longevity
Wear longer. Look better longer.
HUMANCHIC is designed for real life: workdays, travel, weekends. The best way to keep the fit sharp and the finish clean is simple care—low heat, gentle cycles, and protecting the details.
Because items are made-to-order, caring well reduces the chance of shrink, fading, and early wear.
The 60-second care routine
-
Turn inside out before washing
-
Wash cold on gentle
-
Use mild detergent (skip bleach)
-
Tumble low only when needed — air dry is best
-
Remove promptly and reshape while damp

Washing frequency (don’t over-wash)
Over-washing is the fastest way to wear fabrics out.
-
T-shirts / Polos: wash after 1–2 wears (or sooner if needed)
-
Hoodies: every 3–5 wears (spot clean between)
-
Jackets: spot clean; wash only when necessary
-
Skirts: wash as needed; follow garment notes on the product page
Pro tip: if it’s not stained or sweaty, airing it out often beats a full wash.
Drying rules (heat changes fit)
High heat can shrink fabric and stress prints, seams, and trims.
-
Best: hang dry or lay flat (especially for knits)
-
If using dryer: tumble low, remove promptly
-
Reshape while damp: collars, hems, cuffs—takes 10 seconds, saves the silhouette

Protect the details (what keeps it looking premium)
Embroidery
-
Don’t iron directly on embroidery
-
Steam from a distance, or iron inside out
-
Avoid harsh chemicals that can dull thread
Zippers / hardware (jackets)
-
Zip up before washing
-
Don’t overload the washer (seams and zippers take a beating)
Bags (totes, clutches & small bags)
-
Spot clean with mild soap + soft cloth
-
Air dry fully
-
Avoid bleach and aggressive cleaners

Stains (fast, calm, effective)
-
Blot—don’t rub
-
Use cool water + mild soap
-
Test any remover on an inside seam first
-
Avoid bleach (it can discolor fabric and weaken fibers)
If the stain is oily: sprinkle a little baking soda, let it sit, then gently brush off before washing.
Storage (keep structure clean)
-
Fold tees/hoodies to avoid shoulder bumps
-
Hang jackets on a solid hanger
-
Keep bags stuffed lightly (paper/tissue) to maintain shape
-
Store away from direct sunlight (prevents fading)
