Fabric Guide
Fabric information is product-specific. Use this guide to understand the terms used on HUMANCHIC product pages, then rely on the verified material, feel and care information shown for the item you are considering.
How to read Fabric & Feel
- Composition: the verified fibre or material content supplied for that product.
- Weight: the verified fabric weight when the supplier provides it.
- Feel: a factual description of the product’s hand feel where supported by source specifications.
- Stretch: included only when the product specifications support it.
- Structure and drape: used only where construction or verified product evidence supports the description.
Product-specific information comes first
Materials, construction and performance can differ substantially between products, including products within the same category. HUMANCHIC does not apply one universal fabric claim across the catalogue.
If a composition, performance attribute or care instruction is not verified for a specific product, we do not present it as a product fact.
Care & Longevity
Always follow the care instructions shown on the product page or the garment or product label. Care requirements can vary by fabric, print method, embroidery, trim and construction.
